Bill Zoerhof (Director) Bill
has been active in civic theater, both Little Traverse Civic Theatre and Bay
View for over 30 years. He has enjoyed many roles in stage plays and
musicals. Most recent were as Art Hockstader last fall in LTCT's The
Best Man and as Mr. Dipenta in You Can't Take It With You last
summer in Bay View. Bill's first directing experience was as associate
director for LTCT's production of Wife Begins at 40. When
Bill is not in the theater his "hobbies" include singing with the
Little Traverse Choral Society and church choirs, cooking for church dinners,
gardening and "puttering" around in general. Bill selected this
play for its portrayal of humor and warmth shared between old friends.
"I hope you enjoy the show."
Sabra
Hayden (Assistant Director) Sabra has become almost a permanent
fixture at the theater during the past 11 years. She has enjoyed working
with this cast and crew as the AD. "This is an extraordinary group of
actors to work with and it has been a lot of fun." In addition to the
backstage work, Sabra currently serves on the Board of Directors as
Co-Treasurer and Co-Program Chair. When not at the theater, Sabra enjoys
reading, biking, golf and cooking. She is also looking forward to
directing this fall's production of The Shadowlands. Sabra would
also like to thank her husband and children for their patience and support when
she's at the theater.
Betsy Willis (Ida) "I
think I've done it all; acting, directing, and technical areas." The
last time Betsy was onstage was in the LTCT production of Sylvia and her
last two directing experiences were with Rebecca and Much Ado About
Nothing. Next season Betsy will be directing The Taming of The
Shrew. Betsy is married to Larry Willis and enjoys traveling, golf,
bridge and snorkeling. Betsy and Larry are dual recipients of the
inaugural eddi Award for Performing Artists.
June
C. Zoerhof (Doris) June's theater credits are as varied as they are
numerous. Her most favorite roles with LTCT are Marian the Librarian in The
Music Man and Aunt Alicia in Gigi. In Bay View her favorites
are Maria in The Sound of Music, Ado Annie in Oklahoma, Irene
Malloy in Hello Dolly, and Julie La Verne in Show Boat. June
directed LTCT's Children's Theater for seven years. She is married to Bill
Zoerhof and together they have six children. She counts cross country
skiing, photography and aerobics as her favorite activities. June would
like to dedicate her performance to the memory of her mother, Helen Cannon, who
was a charter member of LTCT.
Michelle Taylor (Lucille)
Michelle moved to the Petoskey area from California a little over ten
years ago. "Funny how time passes some people right by..."
She has been active with LTCT onstage, backstage, on the Board of Directors, the
Artistic Committee, and as a director. You might remember her as Florence
in The Odd Couple - Female Version, and most recently, as Mrs. Gamadge in
The Best Man. By day, her mild mannered alter ego is a paralegal,
specializing in elder law issues and Medicaid eligibility for long term care.
Scott
Madden (Sam) "This is my first performance with LTCT and I
am happy to be here. I've been Detective Trotter in The Mousetrap
and won best actor in 2002 for Southgate Community Players for my betrayal of
Royce in Dearly Departed. I have worked behind the scenes on
several musicals and other things. I am looking forward to helping out
here." "I have to thank Bill and Sabra for giving the
"young" new guy a chance. Of course, I have to thank my wife and
two boys for supporting me even though I am gone. Sally, you are
wonderful. Michelle, keep your pants on. June, don't be so
pessimistic and Betsy, you look 'sensational'. Thank you all for putting
up with me and last but not least, God bless our troops and GO
ARMY!!!!!!!!"
Sally
McCoy (Mildred) Sally's LTCT credits include producing The Curious
Savage and A Doll's House. She's acted in The Odd Couple -
Female Version (Mickey the Cop), Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy
Dean, Jimmy Dean (Stella Mae) and in Laura as Mrs. Dorgan. Sally
served on LTCT's Board of Directors from 1998 through 2002. She studied
theater in Detroit 1972-1974. Sally is the founder & owner of
Capricorn Moon, which is celebrating its 10th Anniversary on May 24, 2003.
She is stimulated professionally by alternative spirituality, astrology,
writing, and teaching classes. Sally also enjoys her Boston Terrier,
Seanachai.
